Market St Cafe

Heard great things and did not disappoint. Busy but service was quick. Was after a morning coffee and a sweet. Almond croissant was packed with almonds which was sweet but paired with a long black worked wonders. I believe I will try the toasted sandwiches next they look so good.

I've been here twice now and both times ive had the breakfast Brioche and a hot chocolate. The brioche is so light and the filling so flavoursome, as for the Hot Chocolate, just wow. So nice to have a hot chocolate that has a slightly bitter (in a good way) taste rather than the sweet and sickly most places seem to serve. Also has its own built in bakery and everything is baked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Only visiting for early breakfast on a Sunday morning, welcoming staff, excellent change in breakfast menu especially for non-egg loving families like ours. Fresh food, vibrant and reasonably priced for size of serving

This place sets the standard for how a modern urban cafe should be. I was blessed that you were on my doorstep when i stayed in Adelaide a year ago. Still cant get your bread, sandwiches and coffee off my mind. Keep up the amazing work.

Hidden gem in Chinatown. Went for a quick break during the day. The display of the cakes and bread were amazing and I couldn’t resist to walk out without tasting one of them. Amazing coffee as well. It was quite busy already given it was a 5day morning. Well done staff for your friendly service. Even it was busy but it was great they didn’t hint you to leave early. Will definitely come back.

Great coffee. Plenty of seating indoors and some outside. Also has a nice fresh selection of pastries too which is great. Located just a few steps off Gouger Street, it’s a great spot to stop by if you’re looking for a coffee.

What a find! One of the best cafes in Australia, that reminded me of favourites back in London. The open kitchen with the team preparing delicious food is of a really high standard. Great presentation for Insta obsessed, but the winner is fresh food and delicious taste. Coffee that would put Melbourne’s cafes to shame and they’re consistently great with different baristas. If good food, great coffee and friendly service matter, bookmark this place!
