09-12-2023 20:04On Friday 4th 2019 we try to have lunch at the Oyster bar in the Sheraton hotel in the Main Beach in Gold Coast !! And also we are Gold Elite Sheraton members ! The Oyster bar Restaurant wasn't full enough we saw a lots of empty tables for two people ! But the man came to greeting us on the front door of the restaurant and he didn't let us to get in saying was full booked!! Wasn't full booked at all !!! Is because we weren't casual full enough dressed! We were dressed on Tshirts and long shorts wearing tongues!! Is too bad !!!!because we want to spend a lots of money to celebrate our twenty years anniversary with Champagne and a very nice experience lunch !!!! We are Not going be back there anymore!!!! But we are going be back at the Sheraton Hotel because we are Golde elite and we love Sheraton hotel very professional services we will be back for sure !!! But not to the Oyster Bar at the hotel for judging us the way you dress for casual lunch if they say they don't have a code to dress formal for lunch !!!! Is ridiculous!!!

07-12-2023 07:16A wonderful experience. The waiter, Steve, was fantastic. He was friendly, efficient and went well out of his way to make sure my dining experience was superb. He suggested steamed vegetables which weren't even on the menu. They complemented my sirloin steak perfectly. The steak and accompaniments were magnificent.

04-06-2023 01:31Went to dinner with my parents who were staying there and one of the worst meals and service I have experienced. The meal took over an hour and a qtr to be served and my plate had a small piece of chicken and a cup of sauce with a little bit of green garnish. My parents dinner was not much better and I will never be recommending that restaurant to anyone for dinner. I hope it was just a bad night as the restaurant was not even half full.

03-08-2023 03:05extremely poor and disorganized customer service - a month ago I made a booking for 2 at 6 pm on boxing day, and confirmed my reservation, twice, over the phone, but unfortunately - after checking in with the QLD check-in app, the lady who was working there advised us that our booking was transferred to someone else, and the reason was unclear to her. We were extremely disappointed, as it was our anniversary, and left the restaurant just few minutes after we checked in.
