Hotel Hacienda

I was pleasantly surprised and expected less given the low price. Rooms are small so, but seem clean. Good location near Redfern and central station. It is right next to train line and can hear other guests moving. But given you are paying half of other hotels it’s pretty good. So as long as you don’t mind a small room and a bit of noise, it’s totally acceptable. I would stay again.

Dirty rooms full of dust and dirt all over the floor. Wasn't cleaned for a while and under the bed and cupboards was even more. Our backpacks got dirtier in our hotel room than in the airport! The rooms aren't for two people as if one is moving, the other can't get around. Mold next to the air-conditioning over the bed! The evening staff was friendly, the morning staff seemed more annoyed. Our window opened to the streets so it was noisy but at least we couldn't hear the trains too much but heard every person going in front of the room either walking and obviously while talking. The location was great as it was in between the stations Redfern and Central. For one person the rooms would be alright if the would get cleaned at least after every booking

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023 and enjoyed it. This is a no frills hotel with all your basic needs. Comfortable clean room, great bed, hot strong shower, and air conditioning / heating. There is a bit of noise from the train tracks but it didn’t affect my sleep and I already knew about it from the location. Staff were great too. Recommend it for the value and location as well as the room quality.

$50 DEPOSIT SCAM!! I should of read the reviews...upon checkin they ask for your credit card details and a $50 deposit.. to be paid back when you check out. I didnt get it, so i rang them and they said it will take 7-10days to return...?? Im still waiting and it's been more than two weeks. Scamming liars.....the worst kind. I will be taking this further. DO NOT STAY HERE! Tiny room by a train line.

Rooms were great for what you pay for. Mini Fridge, great shower and comfortable bed with a split system. I did have a weird bug issue though and kept find small bugs on my personal possessions but dont think this was a major issue. There was an opening sliding window in my room that opened to ledge that was covered in pigeon sh*t, think this is a real health hazard as it would catch on the fresh air coming into the room. The floor was dusty but apart from that the room was clean. I would not recommend staying here if you need quiet to sleep, the train noise was constant and very loud, so much so that i needed noise cancelling headphones to sleep and even then I could hear the trains. Staff were great but the noise was far too much.

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Quiet room Bed : comfortable Room size : very small!! Cleaning service : really poor - our room has been made fully 1 time only in 6 days! Towels have been changed 2 times during our stay, and weren’t changed the last day even even if we followed the instructions given by the hotel. Staff : I gave my feed-back, specially for the cleaning service issue when checkout and the receptionist wasn’t open for feedback. It is a shame. I travel a lot and I know that sometimes issues can happen, but when the staff is not open to receive a constructive feedback, it is sure that things will never get better.

Will not and would not recommend you to stay here. Did not have a good rest at all, at 6am on a Sunday morning we got woken up by shouting and loud continuous banging from the other hotel guest. No matter what time it is there will be noise - the rooms are not soundproofed at all or ours at least (the metal piece on the door was missing and asked reception about it, all we got was that it was for aesthetic and not sound proofing). The blanket had stains, the floor was so dusty that all my white socks turned grey (told reception about it but although they cleaned the floor, it was still dusty) and there were hairballs accumulated from previous guests. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel

As advertised the room is small but it’s all that you need, and it was a nice clean comfy place to sleep. I assume they keep the prices low from size of rooms and not having things like the tea/coffee, kettle u0026 cutlery in the room though there is a fridge if needed. Soundproofing was good between rooms, I did find a bit of noise carried from the hallway if you’re a light sleeper but it was fine for me. Overall very happy with the hotel and would stay again
