Booked early for 2 double beds or a king size bed in room, arrived and they gave me 2 single beds! Bathroom not cleaned out when we had 2 nights accommodation. Half used water bottle left in mini bar fridge. When we called for water for coffee machine, we were told to fill up from bathroom tap. We ordered and paid for water to use for coffee machine and they brought up sparkling water. We had no coffee pods left and when we called for coffee refills, they delivered tea bags. All in all the staff were blaming one department to the next and found the staff to struggle with English. Used food trays were left all day and night outside room doors. On a positive note, the food at Breakfast was good and that was all. Never again! For the price this is a huge disappointment as I brought an overseas guest with who could not believe the lack of service versus the costs.

There are a lot if improvements required at this hotel. It is definitely a budget hotel. Sofitel seems to be better overseas! Here is why: * No filtered drinking water is supplied in your room. (This is quite disgusting and if you don't want to go to a nearest store to purchase water you will be up for paying $8 for 250ml and $12 for 750ml via room service). It actually shouldn't cost the hotel much to supply drinking water when you can get it at the restaurant. * Breakfast: Ok but food tastes a bit old. * Lift: Be prepared to add 10 minutes onto your departure from the hotel as they take ages. * Room/ Shower outdated. * Coffee : Not great so I had to go elsewhere the next day. The good? * Reception staff are nice and welcoming * The bed is super comfy. * Location is wonderful so close to Circular Quay. * Soiree - Cute little restaurant/bar with better service. Would I stay here again? No
