Terminus Hotel Pyrmont

Since this old pub was restored it has become a regular haunt of ours. Food is great and it has a nice courtyard as well as other levels. They have a nice little room off the courtyard for small groups.

Classic aussie pub in a quiet neighbourhood. Great selection of beers on tap. Got served by a cheerful young chap behind the counter. Great service.

We popped in for a pint and some food around 7pm. The Schnitzel is a good choice and I tried a Young Henry's Newtowner pale ale (and liked it).

Saturday night at around 8pm. Me - “Hey, can we put the Sydney Swans game on the big screen TV?” Them - “No, we don’t play any sports on the TV except the Matilda’s” What kind of a pub doesn’t play sport on the TV on a Saturday night?! No wonder it was dead.

The food was really good quality! We had a large group for Father’s Day and the food came out in a timely manner and the service was also very good. The Lamb shoulder and Veal cotoletta were stand outs. Definitely a great little pub for a weekend drink and lunch.

I'm scared to write a good review about the Terminus because what I like about it is that it's not as popular as it should be. You can get a drink and good food without lining up. You can actually have a conversation and the decor is really cool.

We have eaten here twice now. Lamb shoulder and Riverine 1kg Rib eye. Each of these dishes where share plates for 2. Both meals could not be faulted. There is a great wine list by the glass, and the beer and cider selection is fantastic. They even brew their own beer, which was a good beer.

Stayed here one night for the event and wanted to extend but fully booked. The overall experience was great. Fast check-in. Clean and stylish rooms and well maintained facilities. Very convenient location easily traveling to the city by light rail, walking distance to the casino, fish market and night clubs. The pub has some interesting history and stories behind it. The food at the pub is also amazing!! Had the steak, juicy and full of flavor! will definitely come back!! 😍
