This is a great no frills salon. They do a fantastic blow dry that lasts for days and are consistently good with cut and colours. Don't go here expecting champagne and tea, go here expecting professional hairdressers that know their trade, that will get you in and out promptly. Hot tip: they have a new beautician who does the best spray tan in the CBD.

I have been going to Sydney Hair and Beauty for about 3 years now - they are fabulous! Michelle is the lady who does my hair, and I feel completely confident in her abilities as well as her understanding of what I want. In addition, when she's away I am also confident that the others know what to do due to their excellent record keeping. I don't hesitate to recommend them.

Made an appointment for 9:30am arrived at 9:25am. I understand some places fall behind but it’s early in the morning. I let them know as soon as I walked in the door I rushed to be on time and needed to get in and out. Was asked to wait in a chair for 5-10 minutes sat there for 15. Nobody said anything or did anything. Stood up and said I don’t think there will be enough time. One hairdresser asked another hairdresser “how much longer are you going to be “ she replied “5-10 minutes”!unconvincingly. People paying for a service have an expectation that when they make an appointment, that is generally the time the appointment should commence. If there are delays, it pays to keep your customer informed so they can make a choice. Just common courtesy. A complete waste of my time. Won’t be back.

walked in, a lady with dark hair sat me down, no greeting, or smiling, she looked like she had the worst day, I felt like I was making her day worse before I even said anything! she asked me what I needed done, I explained, she didn't do it well but I didn't feel that I should ask her to fix it. I just wanted to leave as soon as I could, meybe the rest of the staff is good but I am not coming back again, she didn't even get the hair off my neck!! I went to another hairdresser straight away! that was so annoying!

I went there for a roots retouch. My hairdresser was really nice and chose the colour properly, which is not an easy task. Overall I liked the colour, except for a chunk of hair at the front, where the colour was not consistent. They ended up charging me 30% more than what was agreed to on the phone. They told me I was lucky they had not charged me twice than what was agreed on the phone due to the thickness of my hair. I mentioned the problem with that chunk of hair, but they did not provide a solution. I had to cut if off. I'm never coming back again.

I do not usually leave reviews but felt I must leave one for this place. I have just left this hairdressers and I am extremely happy with the service, end result and price. From initial booking to finish, everyone have been so kind, caring and helpful. I was able to get a booking for the next day, I was slightly late due to personal reasons and they were so kind and understanding. The place itself has a great atmosphere. The lady who cut my hair was so lovely, friendly and sweet. She listened to what I wanted and advised me on what would suit me. I was offered teas, water etc and made to feel very comfortable. There was no pressure to add extras, no extras was added that was not needed to ramp up the price and the price was fantastic. The cut, style and highlights look lovely! I am so pleased with it :) The price was very reasonable compared to anywhere I have tried/was quoted before. Left feeling great. Thank you for everything you will 100% be my regular hairdresser and I will recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you! 😁 😊😊
