JB Hi-Fi Mile End HOME

We recently went to pick up a Sony camera on a Saturday afternoon. Upon arriving, we were served by a young lady who was blatanly chatting with her colleague while serving us paying virtually zero attention. She then proceeds to ask for our identification for the purchase order which i understand is protocol but i would appreciate it if she doesn't just grab our phone off us to read the order ID. After the verification, she brought out the camera and placed it on the counter quite roughly as if it was a couple of encyclopedias. I found that rather rude and ignorant the fact that she was handling electronics that way and I am certainly positive that nobody would appreciate that adding to the fact that the customer service was sub par. Aside from that, great deal on the sony ZV1F with the shooting grip bundle. Thank you JB Hi-Fi

The staff allow you to freely browse so if you need assistance you’ll need to flag them down for help. Once you’ve got their attention they are most helpful and they definitely know their products. This store has a variety and has limited stock at hand, so if you’re after a popular sales item be sure to call first to avoid a wasted trip in store. The security guy at door acknowledges customers politely.

Went in with intent to buy galaxy watch pro and the staff at the phone section were too engrossed in their own banter than offering assistance. Inquired about a recent sale and what might be available and they just sale is over.. I gave them an opportunity to maybe see if there is anything they can do buy they just said 'no' I literally said ' so I should just turn and walk away then ?' and no one said anything.. so I did. Considering im regularly buying with money that's part of my salary package in addition to needing new home whitegoods, all this business will now go to a good guys or Harvey Norman etc. Plenty of options.

Don’t waste your time. Went in to quickly pick up a laptop charger, knew exactly what I wanted but couldn’t even get it off the shelf because of the anti theft lock. Asked staff for help and was left waiting for 15 minutes before I just left the store

The worst customer service. Don’t bother ordering products via Uber as Mile End “won’t have them in stock”, yet when you attend the store, it’ll be right there, sitting on the shelf that same day. They’re too lazy to look, was told an item wasn’t in stock for the 4th time today, despite paying for the 2 hour delivery again. Then Kate tells me she’s doing me a favour trying to source one from Marion for me to pick up? It’s actually your job, not a favour. They all need training in customer service. The entitled, rude attitude puts me off shopping there again.

I arrived in Adelaide and realized I left my laptop charger in Sydney. It was this past Sunday and I desperately needed a charger so that I could work during the week. I rushed to JB Hi-Fi to try get a replacement - I was helped by a red bearded gentlemen, who immediately could see that it was a gaming laptop and stated that they probably didn't stock the right charger. He was correct, there were none that could support my laptop. Despite this, he spent a good 20 min trying to assist by calling other electronics stores to see if they supplied - in the end I had to order from Ebay. Regardless, he was awesome and I appreciated your help my dude.

The experience in this store can be hit or miss. Staff is the traditional JB staff, some totally ignore you some other do it too. The only worker noticing you is the security at the entrance. It is like this from the start and will continue until JB will favour tattoos, piercings and dyed hair vs professionalism. This made sense 20 years ago when people would go in to buy music, now it's just TVs and mobile phones so it is anachronistic. The prices are not always the best, but sometime they match other stores, that's according to the staff mood at the moment. Hit or miss, your local JB Hi Fi
