07-19-2023 15:52Deal; Monday to Thursday, only $68. All you can eat Yumcha.. I have read all the bad n good reviews, and I agreed some n I'm not agreed some.. All I can say is that, shouldn't be compared with other Chinese yumcha.. Having a lunch at Silk Crown. You get the views and nice table set-up, waiters r well trained and gives u good service. Whenever we called, come straightway. Price is not overpriced as if you look at the menus also not with trolley.. brings fresh food. Some meals need add-on salt and some r bit salty.. but that's your taste. I still recommend it to everyone if you want to have experience and fancy yumcha lunch at the Crown..

07-13-2023 17:36Silks offers a very elevated Yum Cha experience. Some other reviews offer comparison to other yum Cha options in Sydney however Silks is a restaurant for an occasion. It’s super luxe from the decor, to the very attentive staff and also the food presentation. It’s a great options for birthdays, anniversaries or a special day out. The $68pp all you can eat yum Cha is phenomenal, the menu is extensive and orders are by the piece so you can try as many items in the menu as possible. Some of the standouts for us was the prawn dumpling, fried whitebait and the mango pudding. The pudding was so good we ordered another round! The drinks menu is extensive and additional to the $68pp yum Cha menu. The furnishing and views are superb, as is the service. The booth seating is awesome. Can’t wait to come back.

05-16-2023 06:10This is kind of the worst Chinese restaurant I had ever been. $98 per person for yam Cha all you can eat, 1. None of the Food on average standard 2. Atmosphere is very average 3. View is not great but ok 4. Service I would only rate at average for a 5 star hotel restaurant. There are a lot places for Chinese food and food standard is very high. Wouldn’t come again.

05-02-2023 05:29Food was great, we made the right decision to go for the A la Carte yumcha and not the all you can eat, to be able take our time and enjoy the food. Price was steep for 4 people but expected, service was impeccable, i have to give it to the staff, i came expecting great service and got even better (which probably made the food taste better). Plates were changed out often and cups were topped up often. I would recommend Silks to anyone celebrating a milestone or taking anyone special out for a good lunch. ( I do think we over ordered hence the steep price, but everything looked tasty)

04-22-2023 17:27Enjoyed our all you can eat Yum Cha experience. The food was brought out quickly however was mostly lukewarm and overall wasn’t particularly standout for the price paid. The service was great however inconsistent and atmosphere was amazing as you would expect at the crown. I might come back for dinner, however, it’s a pass for the yum Cha all you can eat. For the price I could get better food and a couple of lobsters at several different Western Sydney Yum Cha places The other thing I hate is walking past all the wannabes in the crown foyer. Really puts a sour taste in my mouth..Surely there’s a VVIP entrance somewhere?? 😂

03-11-2023 23:25Great location, amazing views (even with the construction), great service (tis very nice to not have plates thrown at us or being shouted at) and very civilised for yum Cha! We came for the $98 all you can eat yum Cha. Food was mostly well made but I was still disappointed in what we got for our $98 ( wasn't unexpected...). Few disappointing dishes - Pork buns had hardly any pork, just sauce. Radish cake resembled little fried tofu you stick in hot pot, in a sauce, very dense cubes. Portuguese tarts instead of egg tarts, and it had more crust than egg. The fungus dessert soup was so sweet it was like syrup. I get that they are Trying to be inventive but do it right! I won't be coming back, I rather get the real deal and have plates thrown at me for half the price!
