Definitely recommend this place if you like spicy food. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Authentic mainland dishes with nice tea and refill rice. The restaurant might be a little hard to find as it is hidden in an alley opposite World Square, Sydney.

This is the most authentic, Chinese (Cantonese) food I have ever had in my life. Even the 2 Chinese people I was there with were impressed. The flavours, the dishes were truly exotic and each one was splendid. The service was commendable too. There was an old lady (probably the owner) who was more than kind and courteous in her service and demeanour. Very sweet and gentle with her serving and explaining of the dishes and how to eat them. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Presentation was flawless and it is the only restaurant that I have ever been to where the food looked exactly like it did in the pictures on the menu. Definitely going back for more! :D

I have to say this is the most authentic sichuan or hunan food i have had in sometime. The numbing is there not as much as in mainland but the taste is spot on Price is a bit high and English isnt spoken by all but they make an effort. I went twice in one week and was very happy both times.

Staff don't seem to speak English? (Or they just ignored me as Chinese is easier). The design of the store is great, the menu has English and Chinese The food tasted great, it's not too spicy, however the portions are somewhat small for the price. I'd recommend getting rice with the food to help fill you up. The staff weren't around much, they didn't fill the water until we asked them, they didn't give us time to record the food when they broke the sugar shell. The wait between the meals was quiet long, it took about 15 minutes for the second meal to arrive and another 15 for the third meal, if we were waiting for everything it would be cold by then. I would recommend this store, the food was really good

I enjoyed the food here. We had the smoked duck fried rice which had a good wok flavour and the braised eggplant with black bean sauce, which arrived sizzling hot. It was oily but love the flavour. Good portions and everything cost $49. The ambiance is good too but the service can use some improvement. They mostly speak in Mandarin, which is hard for an English speaker. I came here because I saw it’s on Liven but it was hard to get an answer on whether they use Liven for payment or not. They just kept telling me I don’t know and making me wait for a long time until they finally found out that they could accept Liven. The staff are nice but quite frazzled and seems inexperienced and it kinda stressed us out. It wasn’t even that busy. Imagine if it’s rush hour! Don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon because of that. Overall, it’s 3.4 stars.

Food was delicious, a little salty and oily but it’s perfect with rice. Not overly expensive, pretty friendly service too.

We came here based on good google reviews. The staff were nice but the foods were average and small portions.

Really good food! All the dishes I tried were delicious and I would recommend them: tofu pudding, kung bao chicken, stir fried green beans, braised pork ribs, smoked duck fried rice and boiled beef slice. One star off as I felt like the service was a bit slow and there was some miscommunication, plus I found the portion sizes to be small for the price.
