Exceptional service and patience from the team at Sydney Tools Nerang today. My partner and I didn't look into the payment options for in-store properly and took forever to sort ourselves out to make our purchases. I didn't catch the guys name who served us at the register but whoever you are, thank you so much for your time. And to everyone else on today thanks for not making our ignorance awkward and embarrassing.

I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel like this is warranted. I purchased a 12ton shop press half way through last year, when I got home I realized it was missing some important parts that it needed to function properly. I went back to Sydney tools and talked to one of the guys at the counter and he assured me he would sort it out asap. Without exaggerating, I’ve been back at least 10 times, it is now beyond the period I can return it, while I do appreciate each time they have been kind, there has been zero movement. I own and run two small businesses and the tool was used for a customers vehicle, I had to use a mates so I could get the car back on the road. Overall mega disappointed especially due to the fact I’ve lost money and time, and can’t even return the item. To summarize… Make sure you check your stuff before you leave, it may be the last time you get a chance to have it working.

The staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Dealing with them is a pleasant experience. They could get a little more organised with their stock. But that's probably a hard job.

More a rating for the entire business/set up. Purchased a back pack vacuum exclusive to Sydney Tools, time has come to get some more filter bags. Went online, found them, selected click and collect,.selected Nerang store, paid the money, then was advised I would get an email that my order was accepted. Got a call today saying there is no stock anywhere in QLD. So I asked to check other stores in Australia (surely they should offer that). Got another call saying there are none in stores and none in the warehouse. I asked when can they expect them back in stock, I was told 'could be weeks, could be months'. I questioned why the online set up allowed me to get as far as taking my money and accepting the order when the item basically doesn't exist? Their reply was, 'we don't work in IT'. So a product only they sell doesn't have stock of what I need to make the vacuum I originally bought thru them work and have no date or timeframe to get them. I asked to be notified when they are back in stock as I run a small business and I need the thing. I was told they were too busy and have too much going on to do that. My two options were to wait till they are back or get a refund. I said give me the refund, then they emailed me a credit note....?! So, very disappointed that putting the customer first doesn't apply here.

Came in to buy a jack hammer bit to fit an atlas copco jackhammer. First thing staff says to me is we close in 3 minutes... in other words we couldn't care less. Well neither do I, I will take my money to total tools.

Great service by all the young guys in there, shame about the manager and his condescending tone he uses to all his staff

Great for all your tool needs. My husband loves this store. It is huge and the staff are very friendly. I find my husband prefers this store to Bunnings as they always have the tools you need, especially those that are not common.
