Origin Bake

Coffee was not good. Waited over half an hour for breakfast- not that many customers. Ordered eggs Benny and the sauce was yellow transparent garlic sauce. The toast was rock hard and hurt my teeth.

Best sourdough bread in Canberra, it's heavy, it's real. Dark rye sour dough is my go to. Fruit sour dough also fantastic.

Well the other reviews aren't kidding... these guys do the BEST almond croissants, cheesecakes u0026 bread in Canberra. Their spelt bread is perfect for dietary intolerances. The service at the store and markets is always impeccable. Keep doing what you're doing - it's perfect!!

Excellent range of bread, I think I've tried them all and can't fault any of them. Try the fruit loaf, packed full of fruit and delicious. The olive and rosemary loaf is excellent on its own and is great toasted, or lightly pan fried and topped with eggs of your choice. Their range of sausage rolls are also original and delicious. Well worth a visit. Thanks and keep doing what you are doing, it's delicious!

Seemingly an average place but boy was I impressed with the coffee here! The large cup was HUGE and the owner spared nothing at giving us a dedicated good cuppa! Kudos!

There's a wonderful aroma when you enter the store, and whilst this good bakery focuses on breads, there are still pastries cakes, slices pies and an assortment of hot filled pastries - such as steak pies, African lamb sausage rolls, pumpkin and feta rolls etc - to satisfy your immediate hunger. There's also a selection of hot drinks available and soup. There's a small amount of seating indoors and out. Plenty of parking in the vicinity in front of the store. You will also find this bakery at some of the local markets. Keep an eye out for them. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and keen to please. Worth a drop in.
