Restaurant Hubert

This is probably one of the most sought-after restaurants in Sydney. I booked one month in advance to secure the reservation! Great vibe! The delightful live jazz music playing each night! Staff members were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It’s an ideal venue for celebrating special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. For the food. snails were delicious, and the desserts were particularly enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to returning for my anniversary.

A hidden gem. This place is a piece of Paris in Sydney. Serving delicious food with outstanding service. The staff went out of their way to get us a table at the restaurant. The mood is wonderful, especially with the Jazz band playing. My new favorite place.

I’ve had Hubert on my list to visit for years now and my partner made a booking for our birthdays recently. The experience was amazing, the ambience is immaculate. Incredibly romantic live jazz music and candle lit seating. The food was divine, the duck parfait is definitely a must order. The roe boat was melt in the mouth, creamy and sweet. The only let down was the sirloin, it was ok nothing mind blowing. I will definitely be back in future to try out there other menu options

Roast chicken, roast chicken, roast chicken. Been a couple of times and that roast chicken just does not disappoint. Duck parfait amazing. Steaks are average IMO. Mushroom with pepper sauce is also super tasty. Puff pastry desert with cream is to die for. Impeccable service. Super cool vibe and extremely awesome fit our. Can’t complain at all.

I had brunch with a friend there as a celebratory one for a professional achievement. The attendants were very friendly and attentive. They had a live band playing while we were there. It’s a pricey location but worth it if you are celebrating or just want a fancy place to eat and have classy drinks. They were so kind to give us two cute macrons as a celebratory acknowledgement. I appreciated the thought.

Finally ticked this one off the list 🥰 We ordered the sea urchin caviar sliders, escargot u0026 gnocchi to start. Then had really delicious chicken and steak mains with a side of veggies u0026 potatoes. The atmosphere was really good and service was excellent 👌🏼 Would love to come back again when I visit Sydney next in Feb 🤍

Cool spot for a dinner. Love the ambiance of this place, with a cool entryway that makes you feel like you’re going to an old speakeasy. Good food, excellent service. I particularly loved steak. Would def recommend this place for a nice night out.

We were super excited to try Hubert after all the hype and great reviews. We even booked a month in advance! But we were let down by the food. The duck parfait wasn't really to our liking - it was very rich. I can understand the appeal but it wasn't for us.The steak tartare was again quite rich and quite salty as well. This set the tone for the rest of the meal which continued to be overpoweringly salty. The chicken was beautifully tender but the flavours lacked the complexity and tastiness I would expect for a $95 plate of food. Overall, the food wasn't worth the high price tag. The staff were super nice though and we got free macarons as it was our anniversary! I also appreciated that they asked for any dietary requirements after we ordered. The ambiance was great too but the lighting was a little too dim for us. Each to their own, but we would probably never visit again.
