Room with Roses

Loved every detail of our Room with Roses 2 course dining experience. The setting is beautifully presented and we were fortunate enough to have a table looking out the French doors. Food was delicious and very generous portion sizes.

Great service and atmosphere was amazing…. Took me back to afternoon tea with my Grandma on our special trips to the city together. Little sandwiches with the crusts removed, and sweet treats just heaven

For some years, Room With Roses has been a very special meeting place for us, friends of over 55 years duration. We meet to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and our friendship. Ellie u0026 Gail

I was here on a 10am Saturday morning with a few people already seated. A quiet corner in Brisbane CBD and I love the traditional style here. Food was fine and I was surprised with the combination of their big breakfast which I did not see so offen in other restaurants. Although the bacon was a bit overcooked but did not rune my morning as their service was fantastic.

As always, the food was delicious and well presented. I have only one small comment - although the chicken and mushroom pie was delicious, the crust was a little hard to cut into. The lemon meringue pie was also delicious but again the crust was a little hard to cut. Nevertheless, my friends an I will always come back to Room With Roses, our special dining place. Thank you.

Mum and I love visiting Room with Roses. We went for morning tea yesterday. It was perfect. We enjoyed every part. The atmosphere, the food and the lovely service. 🥰💕

This historic venue never fails to provide an amazing joyful experience. I will treasure our High Tea celebration for a very special Birthday. Everything was superb....the balcony setting, quality and presentation of the food, and service. Thank you!

This was a special birthday for my aunt and we really enjoyed the food. The only suggestion I have is that a little more savoury. Despite both of us having a sweet tooth we discussed how we would have liked 2 tiers of savoury and 1 of sweet. The two tiers of sweet were yummy we would have just preferred 2 tiers of savoury. Choosing a glass of bubbles was good . The coffee was lovely and strong. I really enjoyed. !
