09-22-2023 02:48I wish I had given more stars to Olio. I loved the setup and aesthetics of this cafe. Staff are attentive and professional. Although a bit more smile might do wonders for them. What didn't workout for me was the Vegetable Bowl breakfast and the coffee. As someone who has been meandering around streets of numerous international cities and tasting food in local eateries as well as in posh restaurants, I have developed a strong sense of taste. unfortunately, this vegetable bowl was bland at the best. That is, it wasn't salty or sweet or sour or bitter. The presentation of food definitely earns 5-stars. At $18, it wasn't expensive, but if I compare the food to price, it does seem like a waste. Just so you know, I did finish it because I don't like to waste food.

09-21-2023 04:21The service was great here. I stopped off for breakfast as I had a 5 hour layover in Brisbane. So, I took the train and had a wonder around and found this place. The breakfast was really big and everything was fresh, hot and so tasty! My server was very helpful and friendly.

09-15-2023 23:15Went with my husband for a breakfast and we were very well served by the lady at the bar and Adam. Adam created a personal connection with us, asked us where we were from and when we told him we were from Brazil, he started speaking in Portuguese and that made our day. He made us feel home when he spoke Portuguese with us. Also, he's very kind and friendly. The coffee was great, well presented. The place wss very clean and organised. Well definitely come back.

07-07-2023 12:53GREAT SERVICE AND GOOD COFFEE Cafe within the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Very open and airy setting on the ground floor. Good range of items for breakfast or a quick meal. People with mobility issues will need to enter via the ramp rather than the stairs on side of building.

06-27-2023 21:06First the wait staff got my son’s iced chocolate wrong, served him hot chocolate then just added ice in the coffee glass and said it’s iced chocolate when I told them the wrong order. Then we waited over 30 minutes for our lunch (ordered lunch at 11:19am) when no one in the restaurant was having cooked food in the restaurant. The staff didn’t realised the order was missing until we saw the next table got their food 10 minutes after ordering. Finally got served at 11:58am. Not impressed with my son’s Barramundi, it was almost burnt and so oily I had to use a paper towel to soak up the oil. Menu said panko crumb but it’s normal bread crumb. I would not recommend this cafe to anyone.

03-21-2023 07:23A nice cafe for simple breakfast and a good place to have a rest while attending conferences and event at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center. Flat white tastes really good. The Toasted granola is fantastic! Should be the best granola I have ever tried! I checked the menu and they do provide some main course. But I have no chance to try. I will pay a revisit to this lovely cafe if I travel to Brisbane again.
