Semtron Electronic Repairs

Recently had an issue with my 2 year old TCL Smart TV. Semtron contacted me as the designated service provider for TCL. They were prompt in their initial reply and assessment of the TV. Once they discovered the fault they were quick to source the required replacement part and returned to complete the repair within a couple of days. Their communication with me through the process was very good and the technician was very patient and friendly.

Called them out for an issue with my Samsung. Despite me telling them my other TV worked perfectly from the same antenna outlet they told me it was a building issue. I called them back and showed them phone video of what was happening. Said they would get back to me. Then……….nothing. Not competent or just liars? Has to be either or.

Second time now my Hisense 75n5 tv has needed a software update, 1st time tv was under warranty, 2nd time 1yr out of warranty. Got a price $70 call out fee and total price about $400 with software update, THIEVES. Rang DLE at Chatswood, $99 total, fast and friendly.

Great and fast service. Upfront with all costs and called when there was a change. Dead TV fixed and back in my lounge room in 2 days flat. Highly recommended.

Hi Everyone. Please be aware and careful of this business. They have been appointed by the TCL company to fix my TV couple of times. But just to impress the TCL they have denied any faults in TV Whereas in the past mother board of the TV is already been replaced by another technician sent by TCL. Also, we have provided the TCL and them all the proofs with proper videos and pictures.. Because of their negligence, TCL after sale service is unable to help me and now I have advised TCL that I do not require any service from this technician. Please be careful if you are coming to this business regarding your TV faults specially if they are assigned by the manufacturer to assess the damage/broken unit. I wish I can provide the ratings in zero or minus. I was not able to reply to your reply on my review hence continuing in my original review. For your kind attention, please call the TCL and make your facts correct. Previous technician was able to find the fault and they had changed the mother board of the TV however TV had the same issues after sometimes that we raised with the TCL and they sadly they selected you as a technician. The first time, you sent a technician at our place was really arrogant and shouted on my pregnant wife and banged the remote on our table by saying that the noise coming from the video is not correct as he had 25 years of experience. She was crying when she called me and you are just lucky we did not lodge a police complaint against you. However I sent the email to TCL that we do not want the service from your company if you want please contact the TCL and asked if that is true in nature. Afterwards, you sent your account manager along with another guy at our home with the TV and advised us to call you first whenever there is any another fault on the TV and apologised to us for the past experience. After sometimes , the TV start showing the problem again and I made the video and sent to the TCL and they give you the job again. Your account manager called me to reassessed the TV but I denied as I do not want your services and I do not want your technician to visit my place due to privacy of our life and we do have not time to keep fighting for couple of hundreds and also we have a new born at home. As an Australian citizen, I am providing all the information that is true and correct in nature and I do have all the emails and the proofs. Now it’s customers wish if they want to go ahead with you or not but I shared my experience with you .

Very good service, absolutely recommend. Technician did great job on transferring tiny IC Chip on the board which requires delicate technical skills. Well done!!

I recently sent my monitor to this repair shop for fixing. Initially, the owner charged me $50 for a review, even though I had no issue with the service. However, my frustration grew when I was hit with a $500 repair bill. To add to the disappointment, the owner later informed me that it wasn't worth fixing. Surprisingly, I found the same repair service for $350 at a different store. Use this store at your discretion.
