The Terrace Hotel Adelaide

Had my 60th Birthday celebrations at one of the function rooms here. The service was outstanding and the food was plentiful and yummy. Staff were so lovely and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend having an event at The Terrace. I didn't stay overnight however the pictures of the hotel rooms looked really lovely.

Chose to stay here for its location for the Adelaide 500 event. Overall it was pretty good, rooms were of decent size and it was nice to have an opening door onto a small balcony. The side we were on neighbours a school, this is OK but soundproofing wasn't enough to block out the caretaker using a blower before school started. The bathroom was the biggest let down here. The shower over bath water pressure was rubbish, and the floor of the bath where you stand to shower is not flat, this was very bizzar and off putting. If mobility is not great climbing in and out of the bathtub could be a real issue, even as a fully able bodied person I felt like the risk of slipping was high. The staff were all brilliant and helpful.

Would not recommend this Hotel . Cash not excepted .Could not eat at restaurant for breakfast or Hotel next door owned by them for meals in the eve unable to even get a bottle of water as only had cash even after explaining problem with card .Cash is legal tender so disgusted they refused to except. My rooms sink blocked up on each use My stay was 4 nights and the shower in the very high bath was impossible to use.
