Mudgeeraba Child Care Gold Coast Montessori

My second child has started his childcare journey a decade later at the same Montessori as my 10 year old daughter spent 3 years. Even though it is not the closest, we attend Mudgeeraba Montessori because DD insists it was her favourite (after attending 4 different Kindy's on the GC). I value her opinion because she was the one who spent all day every day at that venue with those carers. We always felt supported by genuinely caring staff and safe knowing that our children were/are in good hands busy developing life skills while we had to be working.

5 stars for the educators and management of this wonderful centre. My son is happy, and well adjusted here. I can’t thank the staff enough for being flexible and making my transition back to work an easy one. Every day my child is learning more and more and I can see here they are getting the children ready for prep with structured days including play and learning. It’s great would have no hesitation in recommending this centre.

We are new to the centre and everything we have experienced has been amazing. Loving and kind staff who show understanding of the early years and each child’s needs. A great friendly school. My daughter loves each day she attends and has help her develop into a smart and caring little person. She is 3 years old and has developed independence and confidence in all she does (including counting in Chinese thanks to miss Nina). Miss Jane is a wonderful educator, thankyou for your care of my daughter.

My kids have been attending Montessori for 4 years now. The staff are consistently professional, empathic, enthusiastic and accommodating. The centre has a lovely 'feel' to it, and the play areas and equipment, while perhaps basic in comparison to other childcare centres (in line with Montessori principles) are well-loved by the kids and serve important and valuable educational purposes. I recommend Montessori to any parent wanting their kids to learn to be independent and compassionate little humans in an environment that is loving and friendly.

Would not recommend. Most expensive childcare, $300 enrolment fee and they couldn't even get the enrolment right for the childcare subsidy. In centrelinks words - they stuffed it up and need to fix it It's been months since I first enrolled my son and they still haven't fixed it up saying it's something I need to do, when it's not. They say I owe way more than I do for fees and I'm not paying it because they can't get the amount right. Absolutely hopeless. Whats the $300 fee for if they cant even do their job properly? Not very inclusive either, they kept calling me up to pick my son up everyday because they couldn't handle the situation of his behaviour, which he turned out having a diagnosis of global developmental delay and they just couldnt cope with it. What childcare does that ?! Ive spoken to a couple of people who say thats so wrong, a childcare should be able to handle it! I ended up taking my son out because it drove me mad, they said maybe he can come 2-3 hours a day... how is anyone supposed to get anything done ?! It's super strict as well, not play based like I thought. Would tell everyone to stay away from this centre

Absolutely wonderful centre. I always knew I wanted to send my son to a Montessori centre so I was so glad when I found Mudgeeraba Montessori. All the staff are kind, caring and helpful. It has honestly been a wonderful experience for our little boy and ourselves. Roman LOVES going to childcare and for that we are so grateful.
