PAD Plumbing

I cancelled the booking, so I can't speak to their on-site skills, but I was really unhappy that I was registered for an i4tradies app account without my permission. It seems to be their booking system, but I wasn't told about it until I got an SMS notification that an account had been created for me. The app is awful, with no web functionality despite being told so in the registration email. Logging in on the web app only prompts you to install their Android or iPhone apps that ask for more data and permissions than necessary, like access to my contacts list. There's no way to cancel the booking in the app (I had to text PAD) and no way to delete the account they created for me. The 5 star reviews they have on the Google Play store are obviously fake and from puppet accounts too. Besides the i4tradies app, I also wasn't happy that I had to ask explicitly what their callout fee was. I wasn't given that information up front while almost every other plumber I called did.

I was put on to these guys by a friend earlier this year- and in short they're fantastic. Finally a trades company that arrives on time, and fixes things without fuss. I thought they'd be expensive - but the job was done for a very reasonable price.

Best tradie I've ever used! got here right on time, stuck to the quote and went above and beyond to walk me through what he was doing and why. Highly recommended!

Not sure about the other reviews, but our experience was horrible. 'Paul' said he would arrive at our place by 11 and was a no-show. We tried to call him but went straight through to voicemail and he didn't call back. Would not recommend these guys as it appears to be a hit or miss with timing.

Laundry mixer flexi hose was leaking with potential for lots of damage. Paul + team sorted it quickly and efficiently. Good work.
