I’ve had lunch here twice and both times were disappointing. The first time I ordered lamb but it was actually a sausage (processed) cut up in slices. I couldn’t eat it. And the second time I ordered the Breakfast Crepe with eggs (plural) of your choice. But there was only one egg!! At $17:90 it was so overpriced. The staff were very helpful though and on questioning that the menu said ‘eggs’ they ordered me another egg.

Been here twice, service is always friendly and fast. Servings are not do big so great for me, small eater lol..Food is ok, nothing amazing, but if you are in a hurry, you can expect food to he served fast, compared to the old Dome Cafe. They were quite busy but still managed a fast enough service. On our first visit, my husband said his breaky burger was a bit boring. My chicken, bacon and avocado wrap was ok, maybe needs sauce( at home we use garlic yoghurt which makes a big difference). On our second visit, we brought our son who enjoyed his potato rosti and iced coffee. My roast beef was very tender, though I had to ask for more sauce as some bits of beef need sauce,vI cannot enjoy them dry. At home, we love plenty of sauce / gravy on our roast meat, it's the best bit, especially eaten with mash, needs gravy. Salad was good, love the fresh tomatoes and red onions and spinach. My husband had lamb souvlaki and he preferred it rolled up. It was served whole flat and this way makes the food go cold quickly. Would have been nice 🗞️. His coffee was very good according to him. My English breakfast tea was better this time, water was really hot, last time my tea wasn't that hot. Overall, we'll be back to try other dishes. Was eyeing the pancakes but didn't see fruits unlike Rhyme Street cafe's version with fresh strawberries and grapes so not sure, maybe crepes, next time? I think they should be more generous with sauces,they add lots of flavour to dishes. Appearance is just secondary for me, flavour should be the priority. Overall decent meals here, big eaters will probably enjoy the ones with chips as side dishes 😜

Great all day breakfast menu so friendly staff. The grill'd holumi eggs bacon, fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting the Elizabeth Lounge in Hobart when visiting.

A yummy casual breakfast experience. Food was great! Had the fritters and my husband had the big brekkie. The venue does need some renovations as it’s very old and looks dirty (but it’s not). But delicious food so would recommend. Staff were nice too!

Oh wow... I was sad when the last Dome closed. But oh boy am I glad it's changed over. Super friendly door service, attentive staff. Fantastic coffee lounge with papers and magazines to choose from as soft coffee shop music plays Huge menu, even the fussiest will find something to have. Wonderful hot chocolaty mocha and the ultimate breaky wrap so fresh and eggs so creamy. Can't wait to come back and try the club sandwich! Great prices for middle of Hobart to!

The crew here are super friendly, helpful and kind. The coffee is tasty and and large in size! The food is amazing. Big space with lots of tables, they are happy for people to use a laptop. But support the business and buy some food + drinks. Highly recommend.
