Grand Hotel Melbourne

Great location and comfortable, generously sized rooms. Denis is very welcoming.

Stayed a couple of nights late October and very impressed. Denis welcomed us and was very helpful with directions, transport etc. The Indian restaurant downstairs is wonderful also. We will definitely be back!

A grand old building in a good location. Good size rooms with very high ceilings, giving a sense of space. My wife and I have stayed here a few times now and will be back again because we love the welcome and service from Denis and crew.

Just arrived at the hotel, but couldnt help but leave a review. Cherry, the receptionist was amazing, she has a great uplifting energy about her and is very bubbly. She was eager to help me out with information about my stay but also personnal questions relating to my working holiday in Austrailia (thank you Cherry)! I was also made up by the gesture Dennis had left in my room! Appreciate the small kind things that money cant buy! The building is very grand and historical which I appreciate. Thank you, Dylan!

Excellent service, very friendly staff. They were very accommodating and gave great reccomendations for places to eat. Will definitely be staying there any time we are in Melbourne from now on.

Great location and lovely manager Denis who is very helpful for us. We had a awesome view from the bedroom with trains and trams everyday. Lovely sit on the bed and enjoy the view. Highly recommended. If you like a boutique hotel with character and history this would be a nice choice. But some walls need to be repaint and if you mind the noise, maybe need to reconsider.

We had the most AMAZING experience during our stay at the Grand Hotel. The room was beautiful, Denis and all the staff were fantastic and our overall stay was the best! We will definitely be back!

The Grand Hotel is one of my favourites in Melbourne, I stay in Melbourne for a week a year and when I checked in this year, the amazing receptionist remembered me from last year. And when I left something behind that was important to me, it was sent back to me when I enquired. Just an all around friendly experience. Additionally, to have a kitchen in a hotel room and for this price was incredible. It saves a lot of money from not having to eat out every day while travelling.
