Croissant D'Or

It's a very tiny shop you might not easily notice it but they have a big sign handing outside. Let me just say their small prices of chocolate one of the tastiest chocolate I had, I could taste pure cacao in it. And their pastry is must have , I recommend to try the rasion snail with walnut and custard . It's fabulous with coffee in the morning. They offer heaps of other options, it's one of these places where you can't just wake out with one pastry coz honestly it's so good and yummy that one peace is not enough (at least for me 😅)

Lovely food that hits the spot for me when I want my French fix. Friendly staff everytime I go. All the pastries are always fresh, flaky and tasty fillings. Pies exactly like how you would make at home, chicken one is my fav. Chocolate Eclair and chocolate croissant recommended!

the chocolate cookie I have got was ok, not too sweet. crunchie around the edge but not thick enough in the centre for it to be a chewy. the shop smell very nice with freshly bake goodies. not a place that I would go out of my way for. Good sugar fix.

This one’s a hidden gem. The other pastry shop on the corner has bigger crowds because they have more seating, but if you notice the little differences between a decent pastry and an excellent one, you’d rather Croissant D’Or. The pâtissier used to work for Zumbo, back when they were really good, and if you’ve ever wondered why they went out of business it’s probably because they couldn’t keep people like him around. You’ve really got to love your craft to keep making that extra effort, every day, when it’d be easier to do an ok job. If you appreciate that sort of thing, go here. It’s just a small unassuming shop, there’s no big sign saying “BEST PASTRIES HERE”, but really, it’s the sort of place that I’d miss if I moved out of the area. My wife had them make a custom tart for her best friend’s birthday and they were very accomodating with the request, even on limited notice.

Croissant D’or is the best patisserie that I have gone! Every thing is fresh and delicious!

Honestly one of the best local secrets in Potts Point. The quality of the food is great. Incredible quiches, and they actually know how to make a croissant properly (rare for Sydney)!! Forget Bourke St Bakery and the overpriced French cafe down the road.. Local Popo’s this is definitely the place to go! It’s on par with Flour u0026 Stone. I also love that it hasn’t been struck by over-gentrification

I had a disappointing experience with lemon meringue tarts on February 1st. The lemon inside them was hard and dry. They were certainly not fresh.

The eclair was rich and I loved it. The pistachio slice is good, but a little bit too sweet for me. The chocolate slice cake is delectable and flavourful 😋
