Incredible hospitality. Called a day or 2 before after earlier accommodation plans fell through and asked if there was a spare bed - they booked me in and were very friendly. Rooms were clean u0026 spacious, with lots of windows, a fan and storage available. Bathrooms were clean as well, they had a great courtyard space with plenty of table space, a fire pit and I had a fun time meeting some travelers and sharing stories by the fire. I had to cut my stay short and they were very understanding. Was very close to the town centre, the beach and Win Stadium. Definitely recommend.

Clean and comfortable, everyone friendly and helpful (staff and visitors), lots of greenery around, boardgames, nicely decorated. Will definitely plan another holiday through here! Really enjoyed my stay.

Reason why I'm writing review is because filthy manager doxed me because he's childish, u0026 to save you buyers remorse, place looks like a dive from the outside, he's a noisy, nasty, neighbour. This clown (or a decoy white knight resident) likes to bignote himself as manager of the hostile hostel u0026 it being family run for 30years. Looks it too, more like run down for 30 years even after dodgy 'renovations'. Photos of place isn't much chop, looks more like a shanty town in Johannesburg SA, tents out the back, builders rubbish dump u0026 all. Definitely false advertisement 'like painting lipstick on a pig'. An inconsiderate neighbour, if you decide to stay there you won't get much sleep. Better off risking paying similar price in an Airbnb, so you can avoid the 'allegedly' sleazy manager, u0026 may not be total dive elsewhere. Must hate being told to keep it down at a reasonable time for kids, shift workers, elderly neighbours must be hell for long-term guests (come on bud 10pm not reasonable enough Sun-Thu, Fri-Sat 12am, or you gotta attempt to intimidate your neighbours to not complain because 'ruining your fun'.). Proceeds to dox me as a neighbour, for asking a reasonable request 1st time round, find out cops come round whilst I'm at shift work previous night, has a sook about it 2nd time round, calls me outside for a 'confrontation'. I attended like a dutiful neighbour to sort this out after being disrespected u0026 doxed by this clown... u0026 crickets. Just a bunch of 'dear caught in the headlights' not so brave to meet out on the neutral ground in the street, after clown manager threatening he knows my unit u0026 gonna pay me a visit. Door was wide open... still crickets. *Seems I don't need to stay to honestly review great location, not much else noteworthy, let down by clown manager u0026 how rundown it's looking.

The bunk bed is just freaking bloody loud, it’s like construction work right on the ears. The room doesn’t have a window. The moist air from the bathroom doesn’t escape. Squeaky doors.

We stayed here a couple of nights and really enjoyed our time. The backyard is beautiful and designed to be a Bali inspired gardens vibe. We were so excited to see that the owners have dogs on the property so this is a must stay if you love animals. The dogs are so friendly and we were able to pat and snuggle them all day. The little fluffy white one stole my heart and I was sad saying goodbye. The location is truly the best. Walking distance to everything and easy access. This place has no parking on property but we found some streets really close with all day free parking. The owner, Kerri, was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. She told us she has been running this business for 33 years while raising her 5 children there and it’s amazing. She had so many interesting and funny stories to share with us over the years about the hostel. Overall, We will 100% be back ! Thank you for the great memories
