Barber Industries

They are very fast workers in here but that doesn't mean they don't pay great attention to detail and listen to feedback. I came with a big head of overgrown hair and they didn't say a word. Very professional. Always keep their store looking clean and well swept.

I wish I'd read the reviews and seen the responses before going. I'm astounded at no one raising the matter of the cost of the cuts! I got a basic razor haircut and went for the beard trim (tho i had hardly any beard) as it was little difference! I've since been to Sydney got a far better cut for $35 -half the cost of theirs- and good conversation thrown in. Cannot recommend and will not go again.

never go here. asked for a burst fade and walked out with a bowl cut mullet. paid $35 for it. my disabled dog couldve have done better. they dont know how to fade properly. please dont go here.

Was looking for places in Charlestown to get my hair cut and decided on this place. Very quick cut that i was very happy with at $35. However a couple of small things that turned me off the place. The staff were abrupt and didn’t talk to me other than to ask me if I was happy with it at the end. There is also quite a large surcharge when paying card which is usually totally fine with such a small amount but I do liked to be warned and when I asked I was ignored.

Was provided with a barber that struggled to understand what I even said. Asked for a normal fade but instead he starts gettin into a skin fade so by the time I realised it was too late. Also asked to be thinned out on top n cut a bit more off and he just packs it up? Always been hit n miss but never this bad, been going for years but not putting up with that ever again. Go somewhere that doesn’t just recycle though workers.

Haircut didn’t look exactly like the reference photo but that’s expected. Still turned out great and happy with the result. Person who did my hair (didn’t get his name) was professional and I liked that he didn’t try to engage in small talk for the duration of the cut.

i am so mad... today i went to barber industries and asked for a low drop fade with a textured fringe no off the top. and i walked out of there crying, all my friends making fun of me with a literal buzz cut zero fade that was horrendous. it feels like there are no good barbers in newcastle! never go here unlees you want to get your hair flamed...

My partner has always gone to Barber Industries at Charlestown. One day he tried out a new barber and they messed up his hair cut. So we went back to barber industries later that day, we explained the issue and they fixed it right up, made it perfect! Lovely team over there!
