05-04-2023 03:59I had a towbar installed about 3 years ago by Recreational Car Accessories (through Brian Hilton). I came back to get an electrical repair for the towbar lights and booked directly with Recreational Car Accessories. I explained the issue and waited over a week for my appointment. I dropped the car off at 7:50am. After waiting an hour I was told to buy a new part (7 pin plug) from Repco, make an appointment for next week and that rewiring could cost north of $500. It looked like they had a lot of jobs booked and they mentioned they had only 2 ‘guys’ on for the day. I found a different auto electrician who discovered a blown fuse and fixed it in 10 minutes for $50 (no 7 pin plug needed). I will never return to RCA or recommend their work to anyone.
