Leica Store and Gallery Sydney

Visited the store and was served by a dismissive and rude staff member who did not offer a great level of service. I was advised just that the camera was out of stock and the conversation was stopped at that. He was very unwilling to answer questions about the product, all the while I was the only customer in the store. Makes for a very bad experience with Leica.

Did not purchase anything (yet) from them here but I went inside and greeted very nicely with the older store staff (didn’t get his name) which was very friendly and helpful. Even explained the camera itself and let me play around with the M11. Will definitely come back and purchase when the fund is ready. Good experience overall.

Happy to get my first camera, D-LUX 7 “A BATHING APE® x STASH” Edition. I love it so much. The service staff in store was very nice. I will definitely visit here more often.

I had a lovely chat with Matthew who is the store manager. They explained the history of Leica and showed me all of their different cameras and lenses 10 out of 10 experience would recommend and do again. Amazing 😍

I eneter the store around mid day - to try a camera, particularly the SL2-S. I was greeted by the store manager Daniel. My impression and experience were second to none. He is such helpful and understanding / non pushy camera enthusiasts and scholar. He responded to every concern and question I had. He replied to every question with a scholary answer and was impartial to Leica, and left the judgement to myself. This approach made me think more about the quality / performance of Leica and did not have someone force feeding me so I could just buy a product. I walked out and understood why the price was reflective on quality. I highly recommend interacting with Daniel as he was such a helpful scholar and enthusiast who will answer all your questions precisely.

Just want to give a huge shoutout to Owen for being such an awesome, knowledgeable, and accomotating person who enlightened us on some incredible products!
