Bostini Restaurant

Really disappointing. All of the food (except for the chips) were not at all nice and very bland. Garlic prawns, smallest serving of rice for a main meal I have ever seen, dry, gross rice. Prawns overcooked. Creamy sauce that didnt taste very garlicky. For $32 I expected more. Calamari was tasteless and floury. Very small amount again for a main meal. Chips were great. Garlic bread was just that...bread. barely warmed, definitely not cooked at all. So disappointed with a $62 meal. First and last time visiting.

I seldom give low reviews, but this is a must. No wait staff upstairs for most of our time there (2 hrs) , so I had to get up to ask for service. 2 meals came out, 3rd meal took another 5 or so minutes and was stone cold (American pork ribs) and a small serve to boot. Again had to get the attention of a waiter because the service was sub par. Other 2 meals were very average. The steak was tough and full of fat, and the Calamari rings had that much lemon salt on that it made them almost sour. This was our first time here, and sadly we won't be back. For a half filled restaurant, it wasn't a good experience at all. Photo attached shows the meal after what I suspect was a visit to the microwave. They put the ribs on the chips to create a sloppy mess. Hand in pic to show how small it was. Really disappointing flavour, service, quality. To top it off, the main waiter started making excuses when we were leaving. No discount or complimentary offer made at payment either. Sorry Bostinis, you dropped the ball on this one.

We had a great meal tonight and service was 10/10. Ordered a godfather pizza that was cooked perfectly with a delicious crust. Gnocchi was fresh and tasty. The kids meals were generous serves and the kids chicken was actually crumbed chicken breast and not cheap nuggets. The service was absolutely brilliant, everyone was attentive and friendly. They had also put in a massive effort with Halloween decorations. Will definitely be back to support this local business.

First time here and had the upstairs to ourselves, which was good because downstairs was noisy. Ribs and barramundi were cooked perfectly. But no coffee for afterwards! I suggest buying a second grinder, guys:)

Delicious food, great variety of cocktails and drinks. Very friendly staff, which was the highlight of the experience! They have upstairs and downstairs seating for dining in. And the atmosphere was great. Not too loud and tables were spaced well enough apart so you could enjoy a meal and conversation.

Ordered vodka and raspberry - no raspberry, then ordered bundy and coke - no bundy, so opted for sparkling moscato - was not sparkling (how long was the bottle open for I wonder?) Partner had Mexican Parma - not bad. I had pumpkin gnocchi - very bland, needed to add salt for flavour. Waiter was constantly sniffling. We were sat right in front of the shelving for plates and cutlery, very annoying positioning of table. Will not return.

Ordered on Uber Eats near $130 I was missing a couple of items so rang them. The person who answered was very rude and as I was trying to ask or explain the situation he kept hanging up after yelling at myself. It’s a shame now as they have lost business now. Maybe next time with their future customers, they will learn how to speak nicer with some respect and empathy with customers that are paying money for good food in your restaurant who have a couple of missing items. Not great customer service Bostini!!!!
