Somewhere To Stay Backpackers

I stayed here for a week in April 2023. The staff were all very friendly u0026 welcoming, especially the receptionist with dreadlocks he’s a legend. I was staying in a recently renovated room that was clean, carpeted and had fans which kept it cool. It was slightllyyyy hot though. It had its own bathroom but the lock was broken, but there are female only toilet u0026 showers down the hall which are very clean. The kitchen is fine. The pool and garden area are stunning and perfect for chilling day or night. There’s a lounge with a tv and couches. The vibe of the hostel is just right: sociable but relaxed. It’s not crazy party central so u can get a good nights sleep, but it’s easy to meet people and there are events like beer pong, trivia and trips to city events. It is situated about 30m walk from the centre of Brisbane, in the west end which is such a cool neighbourhood! Overall, for the price which is among the lowest you’ll find in Brisbane, this is a great hostel u0026 I’d recommend highly

Located in West End, just walk to the cbd. I was in 4 mixed bedroom and it was good, nothing is bad

Friendly staff , good services, the hostel is well laid out , beautiful place in generally however the most important is bad the room is very small I’talk about the room I’ve tried , so for 4 people and 6, it was my first hostel in Australia and I’v heard that all the hostels are pretty much the same from that point I don’t know if that’s true , I didn’t love the bad either , anyway it’s good for short stay.

Incredible place! The guests, the staff, everyone were so nice and easy going. The location was great, walking distance from Brisbane and se easy to go down to the shops, restaurants and bars of West End! The kitchen, room and shared facilities were squeaky clean. Even the pool and chairs sorroundings we're great! I have but one thing, which I'm sorry for, but I simply have to mention.. The beds and pillows. They are so hard. In the Danish prisons they have higher quality and more comfort. That being said I think overall the rooms are luxurious, we had a brand new fridge, privacy curtains by the beds and a brand new bathroom with a shower, which I only had to share with 3 others. An absolute bargain. In my humble opinion the absolute best hostel for the money in Brisbane 100% PS. Loved the view of the Brisbane skyline - incredible! I'm a pig for not having a picture to post here from my room :(

Not a luxury accommodation, but a nice clean hostel with good service—I’d stay there again!

The Place is well maintained and safe. This is one of the views you have next to the kitchen area. All facilities available.

Ich war von Anfang März bis Mitte April 2020 dort und ich kann absolut nur positiver vermelden. Nicht nur das einheimische Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren nicht überfüllt und es gab viel Auswahl, es war sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Nassräume waren auch sehr sauber zu jeder Tageszeit. Es war kein Party Hostel, was mir sehr gut gefiel und es gab viel Möglichkeiten zur Entspannung und Abschalten im Hostel. Saubere Küche und Veranda, der Pool war toll und der Ausblick auf die City war von vielen Stellen echt cool. Ich habe den Anfang der Pandemie dort miterlebt und was echt super war, die verantwortlichen waren so verständnisvoll und geduldig, dass ich echt angetan war. Das war zu der Zeit an vielen anderen Orten in Australien nicht der Fall. Mir hat es super gefallen und wenn es heute immer noch so dort ist, jederzeit gern wieder.

Great hostel. Lots of long stay guests that really make for a great sociable atmosphere. Lovely staff and incredible location. Favourite hostel in Australia.
