110 Hampden Apartments Battery Point Short-Stay Accommodation

Views great from upstairs but my parents were too old for the stairs. Super clean hassle free! Beds are sooo comfy. So cosy with nice reading lights in the living area and lots of little complimentarys. Very comfortable all round :)

Veronica was so helpful and accommodated for all our needs. The apartment was clean and modern with the best views of Hobart. The kitchen was a bonus that allowed us to cook our food if we didn't feel like going out.

Was very clean and self contained. Is in a hilly part of town and has steps to access all rooms. Was some confusion booking in due to restrictions although this was quickly sorted when we found a phone number we could call.

Pretty noisy at night, can easily hear people talking, walking and showering upstairs. A bit hard to get to the room if travelling with big luggage.

This place holds a very special place in my heart.. Got ready for my wedding here and spent my wedding night with my new husband here also. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary by staying here again. Veronica goes above and beyond to make the experience an amazing one each and every time. She is always so accomodating to us and assisted in making our wedding day run smoothly. I wish her and this business every success - it is well deserved!!

Be fair this apartment is new and modern, although access with large luggages can be difficult and living room is small (two-bedroom apartment), but I'm OK with it. I gave it one star mainly for two reasons: (1) They charged me security deposit after my check-out, which should have happened before check-in, and failed to reverse the credit within 3 business days until I asked them after a week. (Even there is an issue they should contact me straightway hey? What if I don't check my bank account regularly?) (2) I performed all usual clean up, washed glasses and cutlery and wiped the kitchen bench just like what I did in other self-service apartment. But they charged me $95 for not disposing rubbish bags (containing baby nappies). Even this is a mistake but $95? It is a complete rip-off. I travelled to many different places in the world with my little one, not a single time I have this issue. I will not recommend this apartment for anyone.

Great view and good location however carpet was disgusting, washing machine made our clothes stink and stained multiple items. Sinks wouldn’t drain and multiple white tail spiders, and lights shining in the bedroom made it hard to get any sleep, not what we expected for the price.

Great location, walking distance to Salamanca, Mona Ferry and heaps of restaurants with easy parking. Great view from the units on the higher floor and a decent kitchen to cook simple meals. Lots of stairs to get to the higher floors, which are very dark at night, so keep that in mind if you're not good with stairs.
